Cold rain drops splashed on my legs, as i walked towards the bus stop.Welcome to Nairobi Kenya where the heavy down pour causes lots of confusion,when you look around most people are either jumping over puddles of water while others are running to shelter themselves from the rain that caught them by surprise.Suddenly i heard a woman scream, when i looked at her in dismay her white floral cotton dress had been marked with muddy dirty water.She started abusing the driver and his apologies fell on deaf ears.
That incident made me wonder how do you react to things when they happen in your life? Do you talk about it? Do you cry? Just putting it in perspective what would you have done if you were that woman? Often times, the lens we use to view what’s happening is determined by our thoughts.
Talking about lens the past week, i had a chance to work with brown cakes.Brown cakes is a cake shop that uses; natural ingredients and brown flour to bake her cakes, the cakes have some sweet aura and intense rich of flavours that will tempt your taste buds.Her cakes are a dessert for all ages,layered with different toppings.My favourite from all her cakes is the fruit cake which is made from natural fruits and honey.
